My Ride: Alpine White/Biege 545i, CWP, Nav, Active Steering, Auto Step ordered 2/1/05
I recd the letter the day of my scheduled service last week. The recall was in the system and the dealership fixed the sensor while performing my last free service. Gawd, it is 4 yrs since I got my car.

You don't have to be the origianl owner. You can call BMW NA, North America, and update the owner information to you. That's what I did and I received a letter. There are tons of posts about this issue, I posted a copy of my letter in the post that is 3 pages long...
What's the phone number? I thought I could do it online but I've never received a confirmation.
