Are we able to display Restaurants and Gas stations at all times on the navigation or only during actual navigation trips ???Id like to set the navigation to show all points of Interests at all times is this possible???

Go to 'Information' in your Nav settings and highlight what you want to see and it will show (for example) petrol (gas ) stations on your map. However, by default it will not show these as the screen can get too crowded, so to activate the last setting you selected just flip over to the handy Icons on the left side of the screen and mark off the "I" symbol and they're back!

Ps - you can only select 1 type of POI at a time.

 

And to actually see the POI blue icons on the MAP you have to zoom in to a small scale (max 10 kms - not sure in miles).

The other issues is that it has maybe 10% of the restaurants in the system, at least around here.

 

Too many restaurants in the US for one single DVD .
More POI in Europe, especially on the 2005-2 DVD, but as we don't have any information on the restaurant I find this useless. I would like to know the menu, price, the surrounding area ... and even order my meal
