Hello

i have a 2003 530 with 225/55 R 16 all around,

i wanted to replace them with 225/50 16 instead cause the Michelin A/S 3 i want have that particular size.

Would you see an issue with that switch?

50 as opposed to 55 is a lower profile (smaller sidewall) tire, but there shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure the tire you want will accommodate the load rating your car calls for.
