Power steering fluid
Just registered my BMW after it has been sitting for 15 mths...Unsure of the CORRECT power steering fluid as there is a red and I got a Penrite LDASto top up and it is GREEN?

Power Steering Fluid for e39
All e39 should use red ATF for power steering. If you get "picky" Dexron III. I use Castrol Transmax Import Multi Vehicle. They are plenty out there. Green is for the newer BMWers. There are some that believe that Green could be better but the car has been using red and was design to run on red.
