Hello everyone,

Just thought I would introduce myself to the 5series,net. I am from the Chicago area and currently attend Northern Illinois University. I drive a 2000 Silver E39 528i as my project car and a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 V8 as my daily driver. The E39 has currently 86,135 miles, I bought the car with 64,300. I have had the car since I was 15 and I am now 19. I have used this car as a daily driver since I got my driver?s license but now have turned it into a project car only driving it a few days a week or when the sun is out. The car has had all BMW maintenance up to date with all service records since mile 1. The car was put on the Dyno a few months ago and had 197.3HP to the rear wheels with 200HP to the crank. I posted this in the new members area but thought it would also fit well in the E39 area!!!

Here are some of the modifications that I have done so far,

Exterior:
? DDM tuning Front and Rear ///M Sport Bumpers
? BMW M5 Brake Cooling Ducts
? BMW M5 Rear Spoiler
? BMW OEM ///M Sport Style 66 Wheels (Staggered)
? BMW Wheel Locks
? BMW ///M Valve Stem Caps
? BMW Chrome Plate Frame
? Magnaflow 14186 Muffler
? Y- Resonator Delete
? Custom LED City Lights
? Hella LED Rear Tail Lights
? European Headlight Lenses
? Clear Side Markers
? Custom Illinois Plate Number ( BMW E 39 )
? LED License Plate Lights
? LED Reverse Lights
? 35% Window Tint
? Racing Dynamics Front Stress Bar

Interior:
? ///M Dead Pedal
? BMW Black All Weather Floor Mats
? LED Interior Lights
? Hardwired Passport 8500X (Blue) Radar
? BMW European Warning Triangle (Made For Tool Box In Trunk)
? BMW Spare Tire Storage Tray
? Suction cups Mount Front Plate In Windshield

Future Modifications To Come:
? BMW ///M Door Impact Strips
? Black Kidney Grills
? BC Coilovers, H and R Coilovers or B and G lowering springs with Koni Shocks (still deciding)
? Painted/ Wrapped Interior Wood Trim
? Dinan Cold Air intake
? H and R Wheel Spacers Front and Rear
? Alpine Speakers
? HID 8k Fog Lights

Any Ideas and comments are welcomed!!!! Thanks Everyone

Nice ride man. I especially like the rear, it looks mean!

I recommend a full dechrome, and especially shadowline trim as your next mod.

Welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the forum!

The car looks very clean and nicely modded. Great job!

BTW, if you're putting out 197.3hp at the wheels, you should be putting out way more than 200hp at the crank.

Cool. It's hard to derive without knowing your before dyno but let's say you account for a 15% drive train loss, then you'd be at about 230hp at the crank.
