What a beautiful car it was.

I've got a 2009 550i Sport with about 9500 miles on it with a 36 month/18K miles lease expiring in March 2012. I'd consider doing a lease transfer as I would like to move on up to the M5. I am in New York City. If interested PM me.

Of course, if you really want to mod the crap out of your ride, you'd be better off with a purchase.

Thanks for the info, I think I will be looking to get a 07-08 CPO and paying about 35k cash, then dump another 15 in mods which will
cover the 50 i planned to spend on the 750i......my only concern is the exhaust, the last exhaust that I used on the e39 was a magnaflow 14816,
after the res delete it had a nice rumble. with the 550 i`d like to do a quad setup with a ROAR to complement a Reiger kit . I have read about RPI, Remus, even magnaflow but have no idea what to choose.
I know ppl will say "why dont you get an M5" but I like designing and building cars from scratch, and even though the M5 is amazing I think I will use any "M" ///Money on the X5 M.

Many NY area members have quads (Nigxdoof, Ghostteck and DK New York to name a few). You should get plenty of advice from NY area members on quads.

No doubt that if you intend to plow $15K in mods into the car, buying is the only way to go.
