Hi every1 hope some1 can help

Having a problem with my 2002 E39 all of a sudden the drivers door will not open from outside with handle....everything else works central locking etc...door will open from inside, i just use unlock button to put window down and open the door from inside but very annoying when raining and its raining most of the time in Ireland

hope someone can point me in right direction Thanks in advance
