525i Amp Location & Replacment Help

Hi,
I have a 2002, 525i saloon with the BMW business stereo. That's the one with the cassette tape recorder located separately above the Stereo. There is a 6 CD multi-changer in the boot (back left).
The Amps have started to die and I need to replace them. BMW have told me that my car has 2 Amps and that each one is located in the back trim between the rear window and the back door (D post)? I understand that its the post where the Interior lights are?
If this correct, does anyone have any helpful advice on how to get these trims off and get to the Amps?
