Where do I find the installation instructions that people post here for various retrofit kits etc. I know that these are handy when challenging the dealer install times, as was the case when I did my Aux and Voice Input retrofits.

Also does anyone know how you relate a kit to its installation instructions number? I know inside the instructions it gives you the part number that the instructions belong to but what about vise versa.

The one I'm after at the moment is the one that goes for the kit part number 65 50 0 431 544

But really my question was more general purpose.

Couldn't someone simply answer my question and say what I was after was the EBA disc. However why can I only find the 2003-2004 versions on places like eBay etc. What happened after that, did BMW stop producing the discs and expect dealers to access it via ASAP?

Most installation instructions can be found on the TIS DVD. It's also useful to have ETK (parts catalog) and WDS (wiring info) discs.

I got the original discs from ebay. I have the 06-2007 disc which is the first one to contain E60 LCI info.

Good luck finding/buying one.
