As the topic states...I have a 2004 545i. I've never been able to figure out what type of lights I have and my passenger side angel eyes went out over the weekend. I obviously need to replace with a new bulb and I figure now is a great time to upgrade. I have looked around on the forum and this is what I have come up with. Actually its a quote from member The Racer Boss in a post in October.

"The answer is simple, if you want to keep your car under warranty and get the brightest available white angel eyes option LUX is the way to go
If you dont care about your warranty and have either a budget for 450 - 500 dollars (250 if you want to break you head over it) then ORION V2 is what you should be looking at.
If all you care is to get the brightest available, uniformly illuminated angel eyes, then you MUST be looking at the ORION V2."

I assume (I know how this can get me in trouble) that I can also be looking at the Orion V3's maybe??

My main question may make the quote a non issue if I can't even pick from any of those.

You have pre-LCI xenons.

As far as I know, there is no Orion v3.

And Orions will work with any type of headlights, so you're good there.
