My Ride: Many BMW's
ou need Tool32.
-Locate a 00swtkwp.prg file, which you need to load with tool32.
-in Tool32 write 99 into the middle fied where it says "arguments" and double click on "swt_parameter_setzen". A white box will appear saying ok in the bottom.
-Double click on fahrgestellnummer_lesen and see you VIN in the white result

Ehsaan,
gr8 info, much appreciated. I was struggling with this one all day today. Is there a way to change this number without messing up with the preloaded FSCs. I see fahrgestellnummber_schreiben just below lesen? I see FG written at many places within CIC, one is with AIF/UIF another which is read/written with c_fg_auftrag and perhaps at other places, which is the master copy?
If I update my CIC (with OPS interface) and update UIF too, would that make existing pre-loaded fsc invalid?
