My Ride: 2006 530i. Built 5/2005. Bought by me 7/2008. Olivin Green, beige interior; 6MT; sport package; cold weather package; premium sound package; xenon lights; PDC; rear shades.

The second link above is the grand-daddy of all V1 hard-wire threads...Don Juan's excellent DIY guide (actually the one where "stream" learned how to do it from the first link above) starts at post #13:

Again, keep in mind that Don Juan's instructions apply to a non-LCI car. I'm not sure if it's been determined if LCI cars are different or not...
