Hi, everyone! I'm new to this forum, so have me excused if my question already has been covered 
I picked up my 2005 BMW 525d Touring on wednesday and I'm VERY happy 
Question: Is it possible to get the TV to work when driving?
I'm sure I'll find lots of great information on this excellent website

It is amazing you could also live and sleep in it, I like the Tourings.
You can go to ANY aftermarket companies from Hamann to ACS or any and for 600? or even less you can have it.

First of all, you didn't tell us where you're from, what makes it difficult giving you the right answer...
I think you're somewhere in Europe and allready have the built-in TV module? If so, yes, it is possible. The solution is an aftermarket device you need to put in.

Just a couple things...
In some countrys it is illegal to have TV or DVD movies on the screen while the car is in motion.
In Germany it is illegal for the driver only to watch, therefore it is possible and legal to do this mod. But if get caught...
Anyways, it IS extremely hard, even for the best and well-trained, drivers in the world, to NOT watch the movie/TV. So, it is waaay safer to leave it the way BMW has given you the car.
But in the end, it's all up to you.

Just bought a TV deblocking ( freischaltung ) module. Anyone installed it themselves? I have the installation instructions, but I?m afraid to break something when doing it myself.
Is it hard to pull off the interior trim piece ( the long one )on the dash?
