9) There were about 4 Liters and 100ml of tranny fluid drained out of the hole.

The color of the old fluid is about "tea brown" color.

10) The old drain plug was reused. It has the max. torque value on the plug - 8Nm. I used a little bit more than 7Nm to screw the plug back. I have a spare one ready just in case I overtightened it and break the plastic.

The fill plug is also hex. I tried 7mm, too small. Then I tried 10mm, too big !!! I am going to get 8mm and 9mm and then start to fill in fresh tranny fluid. That will be tomorrow morning - part 4.

I tried but forum did not allow me to post too many photos. That's why I broke it down 3 posts instead of 1 :-(

I am going to use the fluid from Pelican.com. Not cheap, but should be compatible with E60.

The fluid can be purchased from either Pelican.com or RMEuropean.com. Pelican is a bit expensive than RMEuropean. So, I bought the fluid from RMEuropean. These are E60 compatible.
