N52 engine
I want to get the Dinan bored throttle body, but am confused: per Dinan's web site, they have no mods to offer for a 2006 530Xi, but the engine is the same as the 530i AFAIK - the N52 (I've verified that it is what I indeed have just to be sure through the vin decoder) So
I'm trying to verify the part number for 10/05 build 530i AND 10/05 build 530Xi through realoem.com to make sure that it is the same throttle body for either, I realized that I cannot find the throttle body in the realoem 
Dumb question, sorry, I know, but can someone point me in the right direction, please?
I want to be sure that it is indeed the same exact throttle body, as the way this mod works is a Dinan dealer takes off my throttle body and installs a temporary one, then send mine to Dinan. Dinan then bores out and tests my throttle body, sends it back to the shop, who promptly (hopefully) replaces their "loaner" throttle body with my new Dinan High-Flow unit. I gain 9hp, flowers bloom, children sing, everyone's happy
If anyone has any opinions regarding this mod, by the way, I welcome any and all.
Don't forget to vote, if you've got experience with bored throttle bodies - particularly on BMW's inline 6 engines.

I think we went thru this before https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=82964 ... and from my pic in that link https://5series.net/forums/index.php?act=at...t&id=110625 you'll find an install manual from Dinan and clearly 530xi in it ... I got this Dinan HFTB since early May and been happy w/ it ... I'm curious where you see a 9 hp gain as Dinan stated 5 hp max ... I'm not even sure ...
My car is '07 (Build 10/06) so I'm using Dinan p/n D760-3700 ... and just thought you might like to know there are no diff. of any engine parts of the 'i' and/or 'xi' model so they are identical ... but when in doubt call Dinan directly to make sure proper fitment.
The p/n out of RealOEM is #13547516946 or try http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...;fg=15&hl=1 even the same across N52 based 525 and/or 530 model also 325 and/or 330.
The way your installer doin' it's kinda awkward ... AFAIK you buy the HFTB from Dinan then you swap and return your OEM throttle body for core exchange refund ... at least that's how I did it on mine ... but I did my own install but I recall my local Dinan shop doin' exactly what I did.

NOTE: If you wondering ... the TB for previous M54 engine is way diff. w/ our N52 ... ie the electronic control (for throttle by wire) is on the left side on the N52 while the M54 it's located on the right side when you face the TB when it attached to the engine from the drive side.
For comparison this the TB for M54 engine http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...;fg=15&hl=4 which latest built seems to be 2/05 based on RealOEM.
