Go to sears and see if you can get a screw extractor...it's essentially a drill bit in reverse so as it digs in to the screw it rotates anticlockwise. I think there are other designs that you have to prep the screw head then tap another bit in to remove it.

Thanks for all the info yesterday! I really appreciate it.
So, I took my ride up to my boys body shop. We tried to extract the bolt with his tool, but no workie. So we ended up drilling out the torx bolt. The feeling I had was relief.
Thanks again for everyones suggestions. It was greatly appreciated.

One of the easiest way to get a screw out , if the head is not damaged too badly, is to use a little valve grinding compound on the tip of your torx tip. I am an aircraft mechanic and we use that a lot. You would be surprised how well it works.
