just finished installing my spec.doc for my iphone 5. install was very easy and very pleased with the quality of the product. for the iphone 5 5s it is built with a iphone lightning cable adapter (45 dollar value itself, i know because i bought one from apple), it is a genuine adapter, if you didnt know, you cant use the cheap knock off adapters off ebay, they will not do sound, only charge. so i was very happy this came with an original adapter and didnt have to rig up my own to make it work.

the fitment was perfect, and looks amazing. factory like. i have it connected to my DENSION gateway 500s BT (be on lookout for a review and install video for that as well) and they both work perfect together. now i have a good place to put my phone, charge and sync, and looks great too. no bulky holder, or anything. in the video i do not have a case on it, and fits perfect, IF i put my case on my phone, i have to remove the white part of the dock BUT it still holds just the same and doesn't take away from the style of the dock. still very happy.

I can not decide between the spec dock and Kuda mounts.. Spec dock seams more time consuming to install but looks good. Can anyone post a good pics of Kuda to compare these two?

 

i was in the same boat, but in the end, the kuda would be too much out of reach and also in the passengers way (or my phone too close to my passenger, not good if you have a nosey girlfriend lol)

i love my spec.dock, and i hope my video will help you install if you decide to go that route. ask any questions, ill be happy to help. the install isnt that hard, just take your time.

pretty good if you ask me, though my only complaint is that it only fits the iphone 5s without the case.

how have you been dealing with this case problem? or do you not use a case with your phone?

 

Nice job! How well does the phone remain in the holder if you make a sharp turn? I would think it would end up in the passenger floor area, so thought I would ask.
