I recently changed out the driver side headlight bulb and just noticed that both headlights are not lighting straight ahead, but are pointing down and not going through the automatic leveling movement that they do when I normally start up the car with the switch in automatic light position.

I have Xenon, Adaptive Leveling Control ALC, on a 2004 530 sports suspension.

I wondered if it might have something to do with the bulb replacement I did on the left side light a month back? Could it be a loose harness or do the sensors or motors fail around this point? My car has around 94,000mi/150,000km.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
