The only reason I bought the rear reflectors in the lower bumper is because I read it here. Now I want the poplar piece described in this string. The storage option seems nice, anyone have pictures?
Will get a pic for you in the next day or two. Its just a litle recessed area.

I had mine in the dealership for an unrelated issue. They ordered and installed the poplar trim for $87.

Here's another pic, very similar to rodybmw but for some reason my vent has the cold/hot dial. Possibly due to mine having Advanced Airconditioning???

That's what I thought. The Advanced Air Conditioning is great.

Ordered my Poplar Console trim today p/n 51167153769 ($63.69). Seems all part are a little cheaper here in Germany. Ordered the hand brake and two plugs for where the heated switches go. Will not get here until next Wed. Will keep everyone informed if this is the right stuff. <_<
Spec33,

Let me make sure I understand. This pn is for the poplar rear console cover for pwr outlet cutouts but not the rear heated seat cutouts, right?

Do you know the pn for the poplar console cover that has cutouts for both?

Please post a pic when they send you the correct part.

Looking good!

Has anyone found out if the wiring for cig lighters is present on cars with blank or storage boxes in the rear (ie how easy is it going to be to add the cig. outlets?)
