Oil leak from valve cover on '06 E60

If you still have the warranty running is great because BMW will take care of it. For some of us that do not have any coverage left is either we pay the chunk of money or we do it ourselves. By the way the last of the ordered parts did arrive yesterday, I have everything I need to do the job, I just need to have the time to do it, maybe this sunday or next week.

Thanks for the input Luigi, you got a good point.

So far I'm still waiting for the parts from Bavauto. I got everything else for the surgery; specs, torque wrench, new iridium spark plugs, ah! and the camera!. I will get the oil/filter meanwhile.
I hate to be so critical, but you are very forgetful, man. Because of your failure to secure all supplies prior to the repair job, I am almost willing to bet that your repair will be a failure.

How can you say you have almost all things ready?

You forgot the beer, man. You also need to practice cussing. That is as important as the beer when working on car.

Keep us posted. Hope I regain my faith in you as a mechanic.
