What happened to this thread?? Can usb be added or not, im lost with all the ULF-high module and TCU thats been mentioned and whats sa 644? has USB been retrofitted into an e60 530 Lci sept 07 model

 

Yes, ULF-High for charging is required even if you have the TCU. They are mounted on two different places. Models with option 644 should already have ULF-High, models with 633 do not.

609 NAVIGATION SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL
612 BMW ASSIST
616 BMW ONLINE
620 VOICE INPUT SYSTEM
633 PREP.MOB. PH. BUSINESS BLUET.INTERF.

I do not have SA 644 Mobile phone preparation with Bluetooth interface

Does this mean that i cannot install just simply install the interface, or the systems above are enough for this operation?

Until now i did not finished the retrofit. But i'm pretty close to it.
Seems i need to change my TCU unit with another one (MULF2 high). After that recoding the car and install a new USB cable.
I wanted to use my existing TCU unit but no one knnows if something can be done about that.

Let's hope that's it.
