Need help installing my black kidney grills.

I just went through this myself, and you can get the kidneys out without removing screws or breaking tabs if your hands/fingers aren't too fat! Pop the rubber hood cushion (same one that hides the torx bolts) and disengage the three top tabs. Pull the top out and up at the same time slowly. You'll feel the far tab and lower tabs release with minimal upward force (more up than out). The inner tab should be all that's holding at this point. Slide your fingers in between the slots and depress while pulling straight out gently. The first kidney will slide out and give you easy access to the other kidney from behind.

I wish I could take credit for figuring this out on my own, but saw it on another website, and can't take credit, even though I don't recall who to give credit too. It came up in a search, as did this thread. Either way, it worked for me, so I figured I'd post here as well!
