Guys,

I'm just wondering M-HUD display, I know, few of us can have this only for few seconds and we need the M5 cluster to have it permanently, but is it a piece of hardware, or we may be able to code our cluster to be M5? Did someone try to compare the trace files or the nettodata? If it is hidden somewhere I would say it could be in Kombi module?

What does it do ??

you mean it save the last settings/source ..
Hey Ehssan,
This line of code allows you to save menu options for changes made to the Default Language, Temperature, km/h, and other units of measure withing the iDrive menu. When I loaded the virgin E90 file to the CIC, this option was disabled. Finding the right line of code to change the flag was not so easy, hence my reasoning for referencing it here. (Using Google translator I discovered that "EINHEITEN" meant "UNITS", which clued me in. I found the comparative code in the E60 CIC file and used that as further reference to enable.

Code:
EINHEITEN_MASTER

HUD showing Gear Selection

My Car is 2006 525Msport Step with Hud, done the usual changed Legal, TV in Motion, Mirrors, M-Taco display etc all good great info on this post thanks.
My question is this ?
Can the gear selections be displayed in D mode 1-2-3-4-5-6 ?
When in DS and then manual and it shows the gears fine along with R and N but I want the display on HUD or dash like M5 with SMG which does show D1 D2 etc
Does anyone know if this is possible ?
Thanks

I think this is not possible, if you are able to activate M-HUD display, can you please send me your KOMBI trace files: FSH and NETTODATA?
I would like to compare them, to see, the differences.

thanks

Hi all.

I've activated the MHud and works fine but the rpm indicator. In my car (530xi) is usually in green zone (7000rpm). The red one is small.

I've activated ACOUSTIC por signal while opening or closing, but does not work!. My car is 2007 Lci

BR.
