Noticed that ambands nicht_aktiv does not work unless you also change next_source to aktiv.

Fan display works
Skip weather band works
Skip AM works (with what I added above)
Windows open by key without sunroof works (KOMFORTOEFFNEN_FB_O_SHD in CAS)
Pressing "auto" does not turn on AC works (ABWAHL_AC in ihka)
Digital speedo worked on my 05 525
Double blink hazards (really want double blink turn signals)
I'm sure there is more after I think about it more.

I have a 2005 E60 and also got everything that is listed here, except for the HUD (don't have it). For the windows to rollup with the keyfob, I had to enter the text for it. I copied the similar line and added _FB, and it worked.
I do have a question. On the two temperature dials, are there lights that are supposed to show? I have a light for the fan speed, but the temps are nothing.
Any idea on what the entry would be?
I am new to coding but learning fast. I have to temper my ambition so I don't do any harm! I think I have done the changes I want, but will continue to learn. This thread has been a huge help!

It seem strange that there are no indicator lights for the temperature. It's kind of just "turn it up if you're cold, turn it down if your hot"
It almost looks like there should be lights because they look identical to the fan speed knob.
Oh well........
I'm not done looking into this and if I find anything of use, I'll post it.

I think you should not have polluted this thread and started a new one. With that said, a lot of these look like coding issues regarding your LCI conversion. The sun roof you can try to reset it on your own.

 

Well when I started my car this morning mview worked for about 30 seconds without me touching anything. Had the rpm bar with what looked like a very low redline but had no numbers as to what rpm was what. Switched itself off but still shows active in the idrive menu. I want to get it to work just for proof of concept on an 05 but probably won't keep it as I want my second steering wheel button back.

 

It is happening to most of us, you will need the M5 cluster to have it permanently.

 

Anyone?



I think I can use also saloon model as well.
