As I understand it, if a parameter is not shown in the trace output for the ECU (eg LMA), that parameter is not supported by the ECU. I think your LMA module does not support welcome light coding.

I got the sunroof rain-close to work. I tested by turning ignition on (no need to start engine), turned on auto wipers, used sprayed some water on the windshield glass in front of the rain sensor / rearview mirror. Sunroof closed by itself. It may take a second auto wipe to activate sunroof rain-close.

This next part I don't have an answer for yet: After rain-close, the sunroof switch is in operative. The sunroof stayed closed. I even tried cleaning and drying the glass in front of the rain sensor, turned engine on/off/on, locked/unlocked/locked vehicle. No go. I wonder if it takes X seconds / minutes before the sunroof can be operated again after a rain-close.
Another forum member informed me that sunroof operation via the roof switch is possible after 10 or 15 minutes. I guess the vehicle has to certain the rain has stopped.

Been answered many times. Welcome Lights is only available on LM2. LM2 was introduced post September 2006. Obviously you guys' cars are older than that.

You can retrofit LM2 if you'd like, but it's a $300-$400 part.

What this change will do? Or what can be activated after this coding?

Hi Blood it is amazing

just did it on mine - only differences is I have LMA 1 and the sentence: "B 00340500,0010,95,71,00,83,0A,00,51,00,14,53,01,15, 59,04,00,00" was slightly different, just changed the value of 95 to 97 and it is working perfectly.

Did you compare the FSW files after coding?

The only differences I can see is than the:

BLINKIMPULS_WARNBLK wert_01

disappeared from the new FSW trace file.
In this case just maybe delete this from the FSW and code it as usually do the job?

This may do the job for the rain sensor sensitivity as well on the Idrive menu?

Even maybe welcome lights for LMA1 owners?

Definitely looks like you opened a "PANDORA BOX" for all of us E60/61 owners.
