My Ride: 530D M Sport E60, media pack, bluetooth, pro nav system
I just received my Dension GW51M02 yesterday and going to do the install myself, (as per Muttleys and Bruce's instructions), so I called my local stealer today to get a price for the Mp3 retrofit software install, and was quoted ?390!!!!!! 
Please tell me they got that wrong, this guy told me they have to install some kit with it! I told him that I only wanted the software update but he said that's what had to be done...
Personally I think he hasn't got a clue.

how much depends on the stealer... just tell them to do the mp3 retrofit and that there is no need to add anything. show them the bulletin. it gives reference to the bulletin that explains how to do it if they are really too stupid to find it themselves.

aless some ones got a uk version of that form??
i was under the impression dension users need the ipod software not the mp3 ?
as iv got dension installed and NO mp3 and it works fine just no track names just track numbers and have been told i need ipod software not mp3
