M5 Mirror Autofold

I have a question, if the mirrors have autofold, Yellow and white wire and your car does not can you run a seperate switch to those wires to fold and unfold. Is it a 12Volt, charge to make them work??? anybody know????

Hihihi Eugene,
I don't think that is so easy to do how you write it.
The button on the steeringwheelside is only conect with the left-side, for the right side to autofold you need module's and program that as for an car with autofold features.
The headunit from the car does not now that are autofolding mirrors are fitted and modules, you muss tell the car that i think ;-)
You muss now one idiot is a specialist in programming with the GT1 and OPS, the yellow head and the orange head.
Than i believe it muss be work.

Don't forget the 2008 has the autofold feature compared to 2004-2007 does not in the US. If someone can figure out how to enable the fold feature in the USA then A lot of people would be real happy.

//m5 mirrors?? (1 Jacket with 3 wires) -- YES it was plug and Play and it has the same wiring but I had it installed at the dealership and they told me that the jacket did not fit so they have used the wires only.
