Hey all,

Cool MOD.

If anyone else is wanting these brakes for their regular 5 or 6 series...let me know. I am selling the front and rear OEM brakes(Calipers, rotors, pads, etc.) from my 2007 M6. They have 5,140 miles on them, and since some of you know how I drive, you know that they have been BEAR-ly used.

How do you find the Kumho tyres......I am a great fan, but have never had them on my E60. I've got Conti 2's at the moment, but I know when the time comes to replace them, that they will be expensive. I would go for the Kumho's, but interested in hearing your feedback over grip performance/handling/wear rate.

did you need the M5 caliper carriers as well to make the retrofit work ?
see item no.2 HERE

I believe it ! but doesn't make sense..the part no's for the 2 carriers (M5 & 545i) are different...

(carrier is the part that you need to place the calipers on and then on to the axle)

Not so unbelievable: the M5 is an E60 like 520d and 545i, nothing special!

I mean from a standpoint that every single part no. is different...there is a reason for this.
