Great mod, congrats
My BMW (30 years BMW experience but not authorized) technician here, was told me that DOT 5 brake fluid is more responsible and it has much better resistance on heat

That's what I heard too, but some said it seems to be a bit hard on the rubber brake lines so mostly they recommend a good pair w/ the stainless-steel braided brake lines, that will probably improve brake pedal feedback feel too.
