My Ride: 545i Sport
Model Year: 2004
Engine: N62

1. Chock rear wheel and lift the front after loosening the wheel bolts.
Remove wheel (ensure 19" rim or bigger for right fit)
I have an OEM M166, so no problem here
Remove 2 Hex bolts to remove caliper housing.

Unscrew inner hex bolt to remove brake disk.
2. Pull out brake pad wear sensor(Present only on left side).

Note: Do not pull the cable, grasp the sensor(green) firmly and pull out.
3. Remove brake line from old caliper housing and install to the M5 caliper housing.
I rotated the housing to prevent hose from getting twisted.

4. Install M5 rotor using single inner hex bolt.

5. Install M5 caliper using 2 hex bolts.

6. Re-install wear sensor

7. Bleed the system. You need another body for this.

Note: Bleed right side then left side.
8. Ensure all bolts are properly torqued then install the wheel, applying proper torque to the wheel bolts.

Next: Brake Fluid Reservoir Access

To access the brake fluid reservoir located under the Cabin Air Filter Left housing.
1. Lift(the one I'm pointing at) and slide to the right to remove.

2. Remove filter housing.

3. Rotate CCW.

remove this rubber piece.
4. Lift rubber seal and move aside.

5. Unscrew torx screw.

6. Lift and voila!

Use DOT 4 Brake fluid.
