Low Profile Ram under $40
#1
I can't find any low profile ram for my bimmer, so end up make this ram from wood under $40 from Home Depot.
Note: Do it on your own risk....
Head to local plumber store near you and pick out 5 best pieces 2"x8"x10ft (inch x inch x foot) straight and flat as possible.
Have them cut for you too then bring home nail it, you can have it done in few minutes.
1 piece cut in half (2x 5ft)
2 piece cut 2ft and 8ft (2x 2ft, 2x 8ft)
2 piece cut 3.5ft and 6.5ft (2x 3.5ft, 2x 6.5ft)
of course you will need 2 little piece 2"x4"x8" for stopper on top (see the picture).
stack up all pieces and align, then mark. start nail top 2 piece bottom up first then next and so on. Nail two each corner then 1 nail 12" gap in the middle which enough to hold each piece together. Bottom line you will have 7.5" high with 8ft long, if you need another 1.5" more then just add another 2x8x10ft piece. Remember always chock all wheel before slide under the vehicle. Have fun....
