This is a DIY on how to install License Plate Lamps. Also perfect for switching out bulbs! Please PM, text, or call me to buy the items.

Difficulty : EASY
Time Needed : < 5 minutes. SERIOUSLY!!
Tools : Your BMW screwdriver

First, open your trunk and get thr screwdriver. Put the screwdriver in the slot.

Now hold the screwdriver STILL and push the screwdriver to the right. Make sure the screwdriver STAY perpendicular with the license plate light housing

While holding the light housing to the right, take your left hand fingernails and carefully pry down the license plate light housing.

Push the light back to the LEFT AFTER it has been pryed down and the housing should fall down with ease.

Unplug the housing.

Repeat on other side

A look at the beautiful license plate lamps!!

There are two plugs. If you have an e9X with factory LEDs, you plug into the small hole. E60, plug into big hole. It's all plug and play.

Now push it back it and it should fit snug. Might want to push the lamp to the left to make sure it's secure.

Installed!
