Hello, I just want to post this thread for few members who pmed me regarding about DIY for swapping the OEM bulbs (High Beam or H7) to LED bulbs.
So here are few pictures:

What you need: (you can purchased them in Ebay)

1) 1 Pair of LED H7 Bulbs (with 18 leds or more per bulb) I am using with 18 leds in one H7 bulb.
2) 1 Pair of Resistor (6 Ohms - 50 Watts)
3) Connectors for cables.
3) Optional: Any wire of 16 or 18 gauges if your resistors didn't come with wires inserted.

Picture #1 & #2 (wire and 2 resistors) you can buy resistors with wires on but in my case they didn't so I had to solder them.

Picture #3 (the connector and just 4 ones are needed)

Picture #4 & #5 (Note: Important here there are 3 wires: you need to connect the white one and the thick brown (not the thin brown)

Picture #6 (you may need to cut a hole to allow the wires go out)

As you see Why it has a long wire and out? Cause the resistor can burn on the plastic so it is good idea to take them out.

FINAL PICTURE with the LED H7 installed.

ENJOY!

Any error codes or does the resistor take care of that?

resistors take care of the error codes.

You wouldnt need to splice the factory wires. Take the cap from the socket OFF and then twist the connections on.

the resistors are the solution for the errors.

Much better than splicing!

Miguex,
Can you take some daylight pictures up close with the bulbs off and on? I'm curious as to how much detail you can see or if you can tell it's not a "normal" bulb.
