Here's some pics of the install. I think they are pretty self explanatory except that the CD-Changer screws don't come out. They just loosen and then permits you to pull the unit out. I fixed the iPod interface with the supplied cable ties. No drilling no nothing. Plug n Play.

PM me if you want the BMW service bulletin that will permit you to get the mp3 retrofit done for free, which enables you to play MP3 CD's or use the iPod interface. Or if you want the official BMW ipod interface installation instructions.
I wonder if there is a way to extend the cable to exit from the drivers right hand council (the box)? So it will be easier to have access to the phone each time I get inn and out of the car??? What do you guys think?

Sure thing.. PM me your email addy and i'll send over the bulleting and install instructions. warranty or not doesn't matter! they'll have to do the mp3 retrofit free of charge

I was thinking the SAME thing. but, i came to the conclusion that i will just buy an iPod (have come down in price soo much) that i'll leave in the glovebox and keep my iPhone in the center console in case i need to reply to txt's while driving lol

Yeah I just put my old 60gig Ipod Photo in the car. Its easier.

As for alot of people asking, I will post up the info for the cover.

so i got the faceplate today and put it in. here's what she looks like with the face plate had to do a couple things different but worked out very good.

Where did i get what? the iPod interface or the faceplate?

you can get the interface and faceplate @ www.aftermarketbulbsshop.com. Just the interface for 280 shipped and 288.99 for interface and faceplate combined.
