It was recommended to me that when/if you change oil before the Condition Based Service indicator notifies you that the iDrive Oil service mileage count down not be reset. Only reset it when changing oil at the time and mileage based on the iDrive Service Notice. Any interim oil service should be recorded separately (mileage and date) and kept as a record [ ye old way - pen & paper!?!] .

This procedure will prevent the CBS algorithms from being distorted.
