Any tire damage as a result or only rims getting beat?

If you are using your E60 as a daily driver in a NYC winter, you should get 17s or 18s for your winter wheels. You need more sideall.

245mm = 24.5cm/2.54cm/1in=9.64inches on a factory M5 wheel which rear is 9.5 inches. If someone confirms M5 rear wheels are 9.5 inches, you can use it. If m5 rear is 10 inches, u are risking it. Might as well get 255 all around if that's the case. Hope this helps.
