A question for all the roundel techies: since the I-drive monitors the oil condition and adjust the next scheduled service date according to the condition of the oil, then what would happen if I NEVER reset the i-drive system after changing the oil? When the new oil and filter are installed, wouldn't the monitoring system find the oil in acceptable condition and at least in theory, adjust the next scheduled service date accordingly?

So if it's not reset, it still will say you need an oil change.
