Hi there,

Finished changing just about all the interior trim from wood to brushed alu. in my 08, 520d E61 LCI

This is the only part I can`t seem to find out how to remove. The trim piece below the air wents for the rear seat passangers.

All hints/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Both are being held in there with those pressure clamps that hold all the other trim pieces in.

Pry the air vent trim piece out first, and then you should be able to remove the wood trim part. Those two in particular require a lot of force to unhook.. it can be a bit scary, so take it slowly.
The trim pieces are pretty strong though... I kinda bent my knife a bit getting the wood trim off.

You must remove that wood trim panel first. Use a credit card and try and put it into a corners. I did it with my finger tips!

I was able to remove my panel with 2 small screw drivers on both edges, bottom first. The clamps will release and the top wil come loose also.
