I have annoying squek/rattle coming from the back seat. i could take it to the dealer but i really don't want to. i want to try to fix it myself. to do that i would need the instructions on how to remove the back seat so i can look at it.

anyone has the instructions on how to remove the back seat on e60?

for tcast305, great resource you have there. By chance any directions for removing the phone box in the center console? Those of us without the phone would love the extra storage space!

Amen on that, KSC. I have really worked at getting it out. The left side is the booger. I can get the right side loose using a screwdriver to twist it out of the pivot point. Fortunately, it can be restored, but I would really like to move. I still keep my phone there plugged in to a power outlet. Works OK, but would reallylike to have the box removed.

Ive got the TIS disc which should show this, I'm at work at present but if I can find it I'll post it tonight for you.

ps, got the tis disc on ebay for $4 !!!........obviously a copy but a great resource, It really helped with dismanteling my glovebox to wire my Speedtrap detector.
