Installed the Sylvania Silverstars on the front signal lamps today. PITA on my first attempt on the passenger' side but once I knew what to do, only 5 minutes on the drivers side. I like the bluish tint to the lenses now. Compliments the Silverstone, IMO. When reinserting the bulb and housing into the socket, make sure that after it is seated, you twist (counterclockwise when facing the back of the car) fairly hard to lock it back into place.

Before

After (passenger side only)

After (both sides)

For those that don't know what to look for, here's a pic of the drivers side lamp with the flat part of the bulb housing that you twist to remove from the socket

ok my 2 cents on this DIY:

I have small hands and changing these bulbs was still impossible for me. It was driving me up a wall!! So i decide to take out the 2 torx screws and pull the headlight back a little bit. I didnt pop it all the way out, just enough to get some more room! Once i pulled the housing out a few inches the light snapped right in. Took me 10 seconds once i had more room!

This was my practice, now i have go order the solaris bulbs
