I just bought an 04 545 and I noticed the head light beams are not even and wanted to know if its a simple adjustment that I can make to align the beams. I have done a search but have not been able to find how to do the adjustment. Can someone point me in the right direction? I see there are two allen head screws on the top of the light. Are these the ones to adjust the lights or to remove the unit.

those are to adjust. the one closer to the fender is for left and right. one closer to the kidney grills are for up and down.

Before you adjust things on your own, be aware that they're not supposed to be "even" and adjusting them to a point that makes you happy might end up blinding or otherwise annoying oncoming traffic.

If you still feel something needs adjusted, the best place to get it done is at a dealer who can utilize the proper equipment to make sure things are done to factory specifications. When things are aligned properly, the lights do a great job.

If you still feel like tackling things yourself after reading the above warnings, then take a look at the following:

Rudy thanks for the reply and the advice. I also read all the other post on lights and see that what I have may be normal. I just got the car and I'm adjusting to all these new features. What caught my attention was the light beams to not match one another and now I see why. I always thought both beams should be level to one another . Well they are on my other 4 vehicles.
