I've got the throttle apart and disconnected...But how do you get the carpet out to unplug the other end? Any help would be appreciated....

Not exactly sure what you did but... loosen hex nut at base of accelerator. Slide accelerator up and out. Plug sprint booster into accelerator and other end into plug coming out of floor board.
