Hi,
Hope some one can suggest easy why of putting back front parking sensor. Hit a pheasant and it has pushed in the sensor and now its dangling about behind the bumper and driving me made when the PDC is engaged!
Had a quick look and it seems that I might need to dismantle the plate above the grills to get at it.
Just wondered I anyone knows a neat trick on refitting it without dismantling things.

I`d say...If you are able to see the sensor through the hole, try with a metal wire or something, to put it orund it (you know what I mean). If you aren`t then chances are pretty good you`ll have to remove the front bumper ! Or at least slightly slide it out in order to see where it is.
Sorry but I didn`t have the opportunity (YET) to take my bumper apart.......(I`m looking around for an M Pack) so...yeah....good luck anyway. It`s a lot less hassle than taking a deer out of your engine (I`m sure you saw that post with the deer in the E90 engine bay)
EDIT: Cross post....does it have a spring on the back, so it would pop into place if you push it upwards ? If not then I think you have to push it from behind somehow.

Maybe an opthamologist can help. My mother-in-law had a eye looking like that.

The PDC brackets are stuck on with double sided sticky tape and obviously mine had a lack of glue!!
Anyway found out how to do it...eventually after trying for 1/2 hour to the remove kidney grill from instructions from the forum...after much swearing and damage to hands, resorted back to DIY section and EURIKA found olli 535d's excellent instructions....
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=25386&st=15
(Just as a clarification after releasing the top 3 clips then work your way round to the different type clips that hold the outer ring to the grill and remove the outer ring then go back to the remaining clips to remove the centre grill.)
Now for the bad news....
The F*****g pheasant went half way up the brake duct and has broken some of the catches
Gone for a cuppa before I start figuring this out!!!
