guys here's my old DIY. I did tint the clearcoat slightly but like i said if you don't know how to work with clearcoat im sure they do have some in an aerosol. I've used some on my very first project (motorcycle piece) and it was good.

He sanded it most of my headlight and used a high speed buffer to buff it out.
IT came out nicer than before, but at the same time, it still had some Haze on it and he said it was from the inside.
Is this true, or he just didn't know what he was doing???
Cost me $20 to get one headlight done.
Should I try these steps.
Thanks for the tips for the Touchless, I always bring my car in there!

does the haze dissapear when you get the lense wet? if so, then its probably on the outside. maybe just do a final polish by hand.

I've done many of these. Although it appears to be on the inside 100% of the time it never was. In an E60 it NEVER is because this is a sealed unit. That is unless you have some kind of crack in the unit or the cover is not sealed tight enough allowing moisture in. But I think he just couldn't get it perfect. If you don't sand down far enough, although it looks good and shiny you still have a layer of oxidation. Don't worry the oxidation will still come back until you do it correctly which is with automotive clearcoat

It has been pulled off most shelves because it doesn't meet new VOC standards. It is no longer available in California but is available in Nevada, at least for now.
