My right front fender was damaged after minor accident and now I want to know how easy it is to remove it and install another used fender. I have never done it but seams that it is on with few shrews. I am thinking to find one that matches my color from junk yeards or other sources rather than repairing the damaged one. Because I am afraid that bady shop can not match the paint and it would cost probably much more. What I have to watch when remove it? Do I have to massure the gaps between hood and door before removing it? Thanks

I'm doing this in few weeks myself, and it shouldn't be that difficult. Here's the TIS guide:

So it's a bolt-on, but at least the side skirts must be removed to get to bolts on the lower corner. Take measures, can't do any harm, but surely you can compare it to the other side as well when installing.

Removing sides are easy, I've done it. Want also to make sure, if all pre-LCI fenders are same size or do I have to look for my model?
Thanks
Thanks
