I believe i start to figure it out, when dde 7.0 is mentioned i believe he means msv70 (dde /dme/ecu or which name you want to use), quick Google for msv70 pinout and it's easy to find the correct pin.
Fuse f04 is regarding the fuses behind the glovebox. And then it should be a third which is ground, not sure though because i dont have the part available yet, maybe tomorrow.
I will get back if i can somehow verify the pins to use for the n52 engine.

Dde is the diesel unit, dme is the gasoline unit.
in my case I am supposed to connect the cable to pin number 9 on the first connector x60001. On my dme unit there's seven different connectors, x60001 to x60007. And then connect to a 60 amp fuse which differs from the 40 amp on the diesel.

Sorry to drag up another old thread again however I'm in process of fitting the rad flaps. Top Tone to start and if that works hopefully the bottom.
Can anyone shed any light to which pin i need to connect to and which fuse?
