Sorry but I do really not understand all these non OEM stuffs. BMW is offering so nice Bluetooth integrated with the i-drive and on board monitor and also the home link mirror is so nice also because you can program more than one remote control. :nono:

hello...i installed the SOS switch a few days a go...thought about taking some pics...sorry about the pic quality..i've loaned my cam to a traveling friend...and only had my phone...
i didnt make a new hole ...instead when i opened the overhead compartment i had the two microphones just like everybody else....but the one on the right side was empty..it was just a dummy with nothing under it...so only one microphone in my car in the left...i removed the right one, and put in the new sos button..
justin..i see that you have the sunroof button...is there any way you think that we can connect the SOS LED to that...so that when i switch the cars lights on the SOS button will light along with sunroof button..

Sorry for the late reply, I was on a short holiday

Yes it's possible to use the led, that's what I did.
You have to open the switch and there you see a mini-PCB(printed circuit board) , just a small knife to scratch away all the tracks that are leading to the LED and the switch, and now connect the pins of the switch to the pins of the switch of your garage-door opener. And for the led, it's almost the same but a LED has a Anode and a Cathode this means that the LED is burning only when the + is applied to the Anode.
The easiest way is to connect it, and if its not working switch the wires. you won't break it.
