Heres some pics of where the battery is and how easy it is to change it.
Please note that I have read on another forum that it is necessary to reset the brain so that it knows the battery has been changed. This is apparantly due to the charging profile.
The Battery is behind/under this cover
Remove the 3 screws and lift off the cover
The saftey bar can then be removed by unscrewing the 2 screws at either side
Unscrew the clamp holding the battery in place
Disconnect the Negative first and keep it away from any bodywork! A tip is to put a cloth around it!
Then disconnect the Positive
Change the battery and repeat the procedure backwards..... Positive first!
These are powerful batteries so be careful..!!
This work should only be carried out by qualified personnel

Nice DIY,
Even when not replacing but just disconnecting it is great for those who never did it. And we all know that for almost all the work on these cars you have to disconnect the battery...

Hi !
I add to this tutorial that a "battery registration" action must be taken through GT1, other wise you might get false errors on OBC and IBS might not correctly manage battery charge.
Matt
