those new lci lights are very impressive, i was trying to get a pair for my 2004 e60 after calling several dealers the answer was all the same (they will not work on pre2008 models and no adaptor is available. i guess will wait untill someone comes up with a solution.

um, have you not been reading the post? THere is a solution an its from our own memeber here: Bruce_miranda. He sells a cable that lets you use the LCI lights on the pre LCI cars. I will have my cable this week.

Market research tells me you can get an OEM Pair of Rear Tail Lights for <1K USD {i've seen prices as low as 620 for the pair}
