My Ride: black 2004 bmw 525i

i have a bmw 525 that didnt come with navi/dvd and i was wondering what i need to do inorder to get the screen to play videos etc. and is it possible to install the stock oem dvd player into my bmw even tho it didnt come with it?

The stock DVD drive is no video dvd player!
You'll need an interface to put external video into the idrive monitor + aux in for the audio. Search in the DIY section. There are several installations described (incl. mine).
